Jamb 2019 Registration Date

By-BLESSING DOUGLAS

You may have question like:

When will jamb 2019 Registration start?

It might interest you to know that as for now, there is no specific date as to when the Jamb (Joint admission and Matriculation board) examination will commence. But we are sure to have registration starting from between 15-20th of January 2019.So we encourage all prospective applicants for the 2019 Jamb examination to get prepared both financially and academically. It might also interest you to know that the cost of the Joint admission and matriculation examination registration will be an average of 4,200 Naira depending on center of registration and bio-data caption but the official price of registration is not yet fixed. The #4,200 should cover both application fees and the examination fees.

The Jamb 2019 examination is going to be a C.B.T that is Computer based tests. So we encourage all applicants to get familiar with the use of computers. What you should know basically are the use of the keyboard in typing your Jamb examination/Examination Pin. And the use of the mouse and keyboard for selecting answers to questions. We hope to before the day of the jamb examination give a test sample of how the typical Jamb CBT examination will look like.

Things to Bring for the Examination.

1. Pencil

2. Eraser.

3. Sharpener /Razor.

4. ID card.

Some jamb examination centers will not provide you a pencil, Eraser or Sharpener to do calculation or analysis with. So ensure to bring one for your personal use.

For the ID card, this is to prevent any form of harassment. Cause at time the Jamb bio-metric capture may not be able to bring out your profile after many tries, and as such, you may not be permitted to take the examination for that reason. In this case a valid form of identification may suffice.

Note: It is not compulsory, just a preventive measure.

Things Not to Bring for the Examination.

1. Bags.

2. Phone or Smart Watches.

3. Wallets.

4. Any other item as the case may be.

For rough calculations, have extra copies of your Jamb registration slip.

Do not come with a calculator, as you will have an on screen calculator for use.
